ATREG is pleased to announce that Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. and Nexperia B.V. today announced that they have entered into an agreement whereby Vishay will acquire Nexperia’s wafer fabrication facility and operations located in Newport, South Wales, UK for $177 million. ATREG served as Nexperia’s transaction advisors. The largest semiconductor manufacturing facility in the UK located on 28 acres, the Newport manufacturing asset is an operational, automotive-certified 200mm semiconductor wafer fab that primarily supplies automotive markets.
